Day 30 of 100 days of Gratitude:
for the nurses and doctors, xray tech who took care of Brooke yesterday ♥
****************
while at sitters yesterday- my daughter ( who i thought was to girly to do anything 'boys' do) she wore her pretty dress, tights and shoes and yet she climbs a tree and falls out of it, lands on her wrist- they took her to Emergency room, then husband calls me and tells me he is at the hospital and they are checking her out, i was so scared, she is my baby.
Nothing Broken though- so thankful.

Easter at the Grothe’s residence 2012
Thursday before Good Friday, my in-laws came.
That night we went to Red Pepper for dinner- it is a stir fry buffet, we love it and had a good visit, and then we went to the supermarket to get groceries needed for the weekend’s feasting.
Good Friday- we went to church, then we went to our friends for brunch- a good Friday tradition- I couldn’t eat ‘normal’ food so I had to make mine with soy milk- was so yummy though, hardly a difference in taste.
We had French toast, breakfast casserole and cinnamon buns. – Yummy
Then because I had started my new medications I was fighting away nausea and wishing for relief so I went to bed and stayed there for most of the evening, when I did get up, I tidied up and then went to visit with neighbor, I ate some cheesecake (BIG NO NO) so I was in pain all night then
Saturday which was a lazy day to recover from pain from the night before- sometimes I wonder why I got IC- I don’t have much pain tolerance for pain.
We did go bowling in the afternoon- then had pizza and my Father in law and I ran some errands, he’s so patient with me and my many errandsSunday was Easter Sunday one of my favorite times to go to church- we all went to church as a family dressed in our Sunday best-
Father in law cooked a ham dinner- we had ham, mashed potatoes, asparagus, corn, and sweet potato with gravy- I ate so much I felt stuffed and I could eat that and not worry about pain. For Dessert we had an ‘Easter bunny’ cake made by my neighbor
Kristi, Bennett and Malachi came over for lunch, it was a nice Easter with my inlaws and close friends
