  • Day 41 of 100 Days of Gratitude:

     So very thankful for the amazing teachers that Brooke has this year at SHALLAWAY - Newfoundland and Labrador Youth in Chorus- Kellie Walsh, Jennifer Hart, Deirdre Costello- such a positive influenece and how they always take the time to make sure every child has a friend, so very thankful for them al ♥ Thanks for all you do ♥

  • Day 40 of 100 days of Gratitude:

    So thankful that my husband and baby girl are here with me, alot of people dont have their spouses or children with them today.{L}

     

  • Happy news first....

    we had a busy weekend going on, Brooke had her last concert of the year. 

    dress rehersals, was taking up friday night and saturday morning. The afternoon I ran errands, while running errands I got a dreaded phone call

     

    bad news......

    my cousin wife, 5 year old son along with my high school friend and his wife who was 6mths pregnant were in a car crash- 6 year old son survived.

    there are no words to explain the shock, grief heart broken that I am feeling.

    Thankful that i dont have to deal with an alarm clock in the mornings- my husband wakes me up  so I don't have to deal with the screech and clanging of an alarm clock

    Today i am thankful for Kindness
     Today is International Pay it Forward Day!! For this year’s Pay it Forward Day (PIFD) we are aiming to inspire over 3 million acts of kindness around the world. Imagine the difference that would make! We already have people involved from over 49 countries. Canada is among these countires and is known for having a population with... huge hearts and giving spirits!      Laughter. There is little better in the world than the laugh-so-hard-you-cry feeling. Thanks to my best friend Gloria Sandra Corbett been a while since we chatted, but we had such a laugh.heart

    Compassion. It feels wonderful to be compassionate to others.

  • Day 33 & 34 of 100 days of Gratitude:

    I am thankful for medications- been having a rough time this weekend with my bladder disease.

    So very thankful that they are now working.

    Freedom. Another thing I often take for granted, but am SO lucky to have.
