I dont mean to sound like a whiner but i guess it is whining
Andrew and i jsut finished doing our budget for October and he didnt remember my birthday, so no money got set aswide for that, i am turning 30 this year, to me this is a big deal, but i guess to him it dont matter
Feeling so sad right now
Been another great weekend
Friday: After i was done baby sitting Ms Olivia, we were gonna go grocery shopping, but had to wait until 7 because a girl i bought shoes from was coming to bring them over.
So then we went grocery shopping- bad thing to do before u have supper. Brooke was super whiny because she was hungry and wanted everything she saw :s
we took her to mcdonalds after and got her food and i had a spicy thai salad, im on this spicy kick lately where all i want is spicy food, left there and went to Dollarama to get some junk food that i needed for Sunday’s party( more on that in a bit). Went to bed way to late, was asleep pretty quick, i love falling asleep very quick. Hate nights when i cannot sleep.
Saturday: We all slept til 11:15, was very nice to sleep in. Yes we sleep in late when we can.
We then ran to run a few errands that we were to lazy to run on Friday night.
I had to go to Dollarama( like dollar tree) to get some prizes for the prize box at Sunday School- they asked me if i would get some because they wanted a fresh pair of eyes to pick out some fun things. I took what prizes that was the box and made them into Surprise Bags, so no one knew what they were going to get and it was a big hit. Those kids are great kids.
New friend came by~ Morgan. She is going to babysit if we need her at times. Very sweet girl.
Brooke had her new friend Destiny over for a sleep over, was fun to hear my baby girl laugh again, she hasnt had a friend over for a sleep over since the first week we lived here, they were well behaved and it was very nice 
They went to sleep shortly after going to bed, had them selves worn out.
Sunday- I love my church and i love the people that go there.
It is so different then the church back home, it has more people and more music, not that those things are important but it sure helps.
Sunday School was at 10:30- my husband played drums- I love that man on the drums. He is even cuter when he is playing guitar.
After Sunday School- Levi came over for lunch, he is our Pastor’s kid back home, he is here for Bible School, he is a sweet kid and we all love him
After we ate, we all crashed til around 3pm, then i cleaned kitchen, and prepared for Sunday Night’s Party

We have about 15-20 bible school students coming to our chruch this year, it is so nice to have them with us, we wanted to show them our appreciation and we had them all over for Nacho Night- we were about 2 hours cutting tomato, green onion, red pepper,green pepper,yellow pepper, cheese, preparing brownies. It was fun, Thanks Levi for your help.
After church everyone came over, we had so much fun, we laughed a lot, it was just good clean fun.
They were here until 10pm and then i cleaned the house again ( a womans work is never done)

What is this important but mysterious thing? It’s your self-esteem!
Self-esteem isn’t about bragging, it’s about getting to know what you are good at and not so good at. A lot of us think about how much we like other people or things, but don’t really think much about whether we like ourselves. We brag on our husbands, kids, friends, parents etc- but what about yourself- ME
Do it, i have been trying to do this for a long time but i never do it, almost like i am to shy to tell myself how “made in God’s image i am”-
How can another weekend be over and another starting, time is flying.
Let’s see- our weekend
Friday night- Andrew and i decided we would go on a date- we were both fighting a head cold, so just a quick supper and run some errands. Babysitter came over so we decided to go ahead.
We wanted to try a new restaurant in town, so we went there-its st hubert- similar to Swiss Chalet which happens to be my favorite.
We left that, went to staples so i could get some printing done. Then while i was there, he went to buy us some fish for our tank, we now have 6 fish and so happy with them. Some people like furry pets, we like ones with fins :p. Then we went to a pharmacy so i could get some medication for my head cold, that seemed to have gotten worst. we were home before 9 pm and i felt ready for bed.
Saturday- this day passed in such a blur.
We had so much to do that didnt get done on friday because i was so sick. One of the people we know from the bible school here, called and wanted to come and vent. So he came over and vented and i cooked brunch, he felt better after he left.
Then we left to run errands
Needed to go back to Staples because i needed 1 more copy, they went to “look” at more fish- didnt buy any more.
Left there went to Long and Mcquade to buy Brooke a Saxophone that she needed for school band- it was a expensive trip.
We needed to go to Wal mart too but changed our mind because we had an hour until we had to be some where for 5, so we would do that later. Did go to grocery store to get fruit for a fruit salad.
Ran home to get ready for our first ever Corn Boil
We were having a Corn Boil welcome back for the bible school students, 10 mins before the party- it thundered and lightening and oh what rain- so we had it inside, corn was still boiled outside, there was so much food there and we had so much fun.
Sunday- Day of church and rest… we thought
We had to go to the Bible School Dorm room to get laundry for a friend of ours who needs his laundry done- on the way home we hear a ticking noise- had to stop and check things out, noise didnt go away- but got increasingly worst, we called a garage and they said to bring car on over for the morning. so car is at shop, not sure whats going on but Please God, dont let the Motor be gone, we like our car and dont want to have to car shop yet.

I was wokring at the Police office as detachment assistant ( best job ever) and one of the officers came in and said
The Twin towers got crashed into
i said oh no…not really sure what it was..( yes a very sheltered life)
we ran into the back room, turned on the news and watched it all.
Very Heartbreaking day
America is now stronger because of this <3

on another note
I need prayer
since moving here i have had a very bad foot
its been dry and cracked for 4 weeks
last night i went to emergency room bc the pain was very bad.
i had a fever when i got there
they wanted to admit me
no beds availble
come to find out i have a foot infection
i am on some very strong medication and a needle in the bottom of my foot…
Hurt like the dickens…(means hurt very badly)
Pray for me.

back home they are dealing with a hurricane, i really hope my friends and family stays safe.
We had a very laid back weekend-
Friday Night i got done babysitting at 3 pm- we hung out at home for a bit- then went grocery shopping. Got a ton of stuff we needed. ate at mcd’s
we were all in bed by 11 pm- was so tired, then i got a flare up and was up most of the night because of the pain.
Sat – Brooke and i were up by 7:45, we decided we would go yard sailing with friends from church. We got so much nice stuff, including a winter jacket for Brooke for $2 with tags still on.
Sat Pm – we had friends from church come over for dinner- without me knowing the mom was vegetarian- so i had meat a meat lasagna- felt bad that i didnt have anything prepared for her, she ate salad and bread.
We had a fun time hanging out.
Sunday- we had church- i love my church. After church we had to college kids from back home come over for lunch, we grilled burgers and had salads, had fun.
It was a very low key weekend but those are good
Interstitial cystitis is a long-term (chronic) inflammation of the bladder wall.
Interstitial cystitis (IC) is a painful condition due to inflammation of the tissues of the bladder wall. The cause is unknown.
IC is often misdiagnosed as a urinary tract infection. {thats what i thought the first few times i had the pain,it felt like an infection. But all test came back negative}Patients can go years without a correct diagnosis. On average, there is about a 4-year delay between the time the first symptoms occur and the diagnosis is made. {i was only a few months, but 3 different doctors before i got the right one who knew what she was doing}
I feel confident in saying that my Dr is knowledgeable and is always there to help her patients. Scary thing is since moving here we dont have a dr yet, i need a doctor and i am hoping my dr can refer someone up here
Common symptoms of interstitial cystitis include:
Pelvic pain
Urinary frequency (up to 60 times a day in severe cases)
Many people who have long-term interstitial cystitis are also depressed because of the pain and changes to their lifestyle.
The diagnosis is made by ruling out other causes. Tests include:
Bladder biopsy
Cystoscopy (telescopic examination of the bladder)
Urinalysis
Urine culture
Video urodynamics (shows how much urine must be in the bladder before you feel the need to urinate)
There is no cure for IC, and there are no standard treatments that are known to be effective for most patients. Results vary from person to person. Treatment is based on trial and error until you find relief.
Elmiron is the only medication taken by mouth that is approved for treating IC. This medicine coats the bladder like Pepto-Bismol coats the stomach.
Other therapies that may be tried include:
Over-filling the bladder with fluid while under general anesthesia (bladder hydrodistention) Done
Bladder training (using relaxation techniques to train the bladder to go only at specific times) Done
Medicines placed directly into the bladder, including dimethyl sulfoxide (DMS), heparin, Clorpactin, lidocaine, doxorubicin, or bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) vaccine Done and Very painful
Physical therapy and biofeedback (may help relieve pelvic floor muscle spasms) tried, didnt help
Surgery, ranging from cystoscopic manipulation to bladder removal (cystectomy) next to do
Dietary changes
Some patients find that changes in their diet can help control symptoms. The idea is to avoid foods and beverages that can cause bladder irritation.
Below are some of the foods that the Interstitial Cystitis Association says may cause bladder irritation.- this is the hard part because of all the triggers, I keep telling Andrew i am living on toast.
Aged cheeses
Caffeine- big trigger
Artificial sweeteners
Chocolate
Citrus juices
Coffee
Cranberry juice (Note: Although cranberry juice is often recommended for urinary tract infections, it can make IC symptoms worse.)
Fava and lima beans
Meats that are cured, processed, smoked, canned, aged, or that contain nitrites
Most fruits except blueberries, honeydew melon, and pears
Nuts except almonds, cashews, and pine nuts
Onions
Rye bread
Seasonings that contain MSG
Sour cream- big trigger
Sourdough bread
Soy
Tea
Tofu
Tomatoes- Big Trigger
Yogurt
Experts suggest that you do not stop eating all of these foods at one time. Instead, try eliminating one at a time to see if that helps relieve your symptoms.
